Some of you may have seen artist Virginia Jacobs painting scenes
\naround the neighborhood since last fall. A very old friend of Dennis
\nand Betsy DeWitt, she is staying with them at their 94 Upland
\nRoad home. She majored in Architecture at the University of
\nPennsylvania<\/a> and worked for many years as a graphic designer
\nfor Philadelphia architects and museums, while her quilted fabric
\nconstructions were exhibited internationally. She started oil painting
\n10 years ago at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the DeWitts’
\n‘Front Porch Gallery-For-A-Day’ during the Annual Picnic.
\nI enjoyed meeting so many of the people whose beautiful gardens and houses were so inspiring to paint.
