Precinct 5

The High Street Hill neighborhood comprises approximately half of Brookline Precinct 5. The neighborhood, which is defined by the boundaries of the Pill Hill Local Historic District, also includes about a dozen homes from Precinct 4 which is on the north side of Allerton Street and the east side of High Street.

Precincts are adjusted every ten years as the lowest level of congressional reapportionment. In 2010, five blocks south of Walnut Street, southwest of Chestnut Street and east of Warren and Cottage Streets were added to the precinct.
